We had a brief meeting Friday and we left with a clear idea of our roles for the presentation and thereafter. During the next week I'll be working on mood-boards for the theme of the animation.
From then on I'll be catering for a vital part of the production process by doing the final edit in a video editing software. This involves studying different video editing styles used in similar documentaries, deciding what video editing software to use and becoming familiar with the formalities of that software, and more. I'm looking forward to the research process of the task I'm doing, such as deciding transitions and effects that I feel will suit the style of the piece we are working on. I'm feeling optimistic about this project and I'm looking forward to giving more life to what I hope will be an auspicious piece of work, during the final edit.
